Description: Pokemon Stadium is a Nintendo 64 game from my childhood that I never completed! So today, I took on the challenge to finally clear the game, and in order to do so, I hooked up my Transfer Pak and crafted a competitive, battle-ready team in Pokemon Yellow that would help me complete the rest of the game! I played Pokemon Stadium a lot as a child, but I could never clear the entirety of the game's Poke Cup or Prime Cup. Since those are the only tasks that I need to clear in order to properly finish the game, those are the challenges that shall be the primary focus of today! I also recorded my entire playthrough of Pokemon Yellow in the GB Tower for convenience's sake! It features several battle arenas, introducing Stadium Mode's original four cups, the Pika Cup, Petit Cup, Poké Cup, and Prime Cup. This Stadium Mode the main game mode. There are four different cup rules to win; Pika Cup, Petit Cup, Poké Cup, and Prime Cup. In the latter two, there are four levels of difficulty; Poké Ball, Great Ball, Ultra Ball and Master Ball. Once the player has completed the Stadium Mode and Gym Leader Castle, Mewtwo's silhouette will appear in the sky over the Stadium for selection. This is simply a showdown against Mewtwo itself, under essentially "Anything Goes" rules: up to six Pokémon (the player's own or Prime Cup rentals) can be brought to the battle, but Mewtwo is the only opponent." #PokemonStadium #PokemonYellow #SurfingPikachu
